Thailand Adventures Itinerary
Day 1: As your international flight touches down in Chiang Mai, our representative will meet & greet you with a private transfer to your upgraded luxury accommodations for the next three days. The balance of day is spent at your leisure, exploring Chiang Mai. Full Breakfast provided daily throughout your journey.
Day 2: This morning, you will be picked up at 8:30am for your Thai Cooking Class. Your first stop will be a visit to the open market with your instructor. Your expert chef will then escort you to the kitchen, where you will learn the secrets to preparing a variety of delicious Thai dishes. Once you have worked your magic in the kitchen, you will sit and enjoy your self-made feast.
This afternoon, your guide will help you explore the city in depth. You will visit the famous Waroros Market, then take a Trishaw ride along the famous Tapae Road through the ancient city walls. You'll have the opportunity to visit temples and see famous statues as you eventually make your way to the most important temple in Chiang Mai, the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, which rests on Doi Suthep Mountain, where you'll enjoy a scenic sunset. Your guide will then escort you back to your hotel.
Day 3: This morning, you will create unforgettable memories as you spend the day training to be an authentic Mahout, someone who lovingly and gently cares for an elephant. Upon arrival at camp, you will be issued a special mahout uniform as you prepare to interact with your elephant. After a short trek into the forest to locate your elephants, you will then begin your training in all aspects of elephant care. You will have the opportunity to work one on one with your elephant, and feed, bathe, and ride him bareback through the jungle and to a waterfall, where you will then enjoy a delightful picnic. The rest of your day will be spent interacting one on one with your special new friend. You will return to your hotel around 4pm.
*Special note: For this experience, we have chosen only a handful of places for our valued clients, as many places in Asia exploit elephants. Our choices are unique, because they focus on and promote elephant care.
Day 4: This morning, you will be taken by private transfer from your hotel to the airport, where you will board your flight to Bangkok and spend the next three days in the cultural capital of Thailand. This city has so much to offer. It is steeped in tradition and yet thoroughly modern. Here you will find soaring skyscrapers, colorful temples, the Royal Palace, the Emerald Buddha, some of the largest markets in the world, including the unique floating market, upscale shopping, tuk tuk rides, amazing street food and so much more. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
Days 5-6: Spend the next two days at leisure. Explore all that Bangkok has to offer, either at your own pace, or with one of our many different tours. Our tours can include temple visits, observing the monks' morning rituals, visiting the enormous reclining Buddha, taking a longtail boat ride on the Klongs (canals) of Bangkok, or visiting the many markets Bangkok has to offer. With your final documents, we will include a list of our "not to miss" experiences in Bangkok to help you narrow down how you'd most like to spend your time in Bangkok.
Day 7: This morning, your private driver will transfer you from your hotel to the airport, where you will board your flight to Koh Samui. Private transfer from the Koh Samui Airport to your luxury hotel for the next 3 Nights in a stunning Sea View room. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 8: Enjoy the next few days on the beautiful island of Koh Samui. This morning, you will be taken to Angthong Marine National Park, a breathtaking archipelago of 42 islands located only an hour from Koh Samui. These islands are magical, pristine, and exude tranquility and natural beauty. You will enjoy snorkeling, the beauty of Emerald Lake, a tasty Thai meal, and then have time to relax on the beach or go kayaking.
Day 9: Enjoy a full day of leisure to relax and take advantage of all the resort has to offer.
Day 10: This morning, you will be met and transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Phuket, where you will spend the next three nights enjoying this gorgeous destination.
Day 11: After breakfast, you will head out for a full day boat tour of some of the most spectacular views in all of Thailand. The Phi Phi Islands in particular have stunning beach scenes, now made famous by the film “The Beach” starring Leonado Di Caprio. You will have the opportunity to visit the famous Maya Bay, Monkey Beach, and Viking Cave. Snorkeling in calm turquoise waters & feeding the fish that come to greet you is a must if this is you first visit to Thailand. After lunch we will transfer to a spectacular small tropical island located only a few miles off the East coast of Phuket. The snorkeling around this island rates as some of the best in the world. Dolphins are often seen enjoying the warm waters in this area along with a large variety of other marine life, including Black tip reef sharks, and giant clams. Make sure to bring an underwater camera! *Schedule is subject to change dependent on tide and weather conditions.
Day 12: Enjoy another full day of leisure. You can either stay on resort and enjoy relaxing by the beach or pool, or you can hop in a taxi and enjoy some shopping and exploring.
Day 13: Time to say good-bye to Thailand. Private transfer from your hotel to the Phuket Airport for your departing flight to Bangkok and then home!
